As well as using water from their own spring, Woodforde’s use only the finest local ingredients including Norfolk-grown barley, malted in Norfolk by Simpson’s Malt and Crisp Malts. This enables them to produce beers of the finest quality, distinctive in character, with a devoted following.
Wherry
Style: Bitter.
Description: Fresh and zesty with crisp floral flavours. A background of sweet malt and a hoppy ‘grapefruit’ bitter finish characterises this champion bitter.

Tinsel Toes
Look out for our seasonal ales and specially brewed beers. Each year we brew special ales such as Tinsel Toes at Christmas time, a deliciously dark bitter with hints of Christmas pudding in the flavour. Or if there is a important sporting event, such as the forthcoming World Cup, one-off brews like Game On.
